The Model Railway Society invites all Pratts Bottom residents to a free presentation in the Village Hall on Friday, 28th. November at 7.30 pm. Entitled THE RAILWAYS OF PARIS the presentation will be given by one of the leading British authorities on the French railway system. There will be a full- size screen and free refreshments.
Residents of Pratts Bottom, Knockholt and Halsted are increasingly concerned at the likely effect of 450 new homes and 1200 jobs on the Fort Halsted site on local traffic on Rushmore Hill and other local roads.
Come along to the village hall on Saturday 29 November between 10am and 2pm to buy some presents and other goodies for Christmas from the stalls, meet up with friends and have a cup of tea or coffee and a cake provided by the Women’s Institute.
Roger Allen informs us that the Railway Club (G Scale Society – Kent Local Area Group) will be holding a Model Rail Show on Saturday 8 November 2014, 11.00 am to 4.00 pm at Pratts Bottom Village Hall:
